Winter-Themed Activities and Resources for Speech and Language Therapy

It is beneficial to the students that we pull in winter-themed activities and resources to supplement their own experiences with the change in season. If it does not snow where you live (or gets remarkably cold), the use of stories, videos, songs, and other resources can help provide our students to establish background knowledge about the season. If you do happen to live where it gets cold or snows during this season, encourage your students and their families to bundle up and explore the season using their five senses so that they develop real-life experiences and can expand their speech and language skills in a fun and functional way!
